Tour de Atlanta
Tour de Atlanta 2010 - Balloon Style!
Cycling in downtown Atlanta can be dangerous! Unless of course, you are riding with 8-12 of your best friends. Safety first cyclists! Please ensure you protect yourself with a sturdy frame, a high quality helmet, gloves, a pair of striking glasses, a clean shave of the legs/arms and please remember that wigs are completely optional.

The Peloton pausing at the MARTA station during the 14th Stage, "Kennesaw Mountains."
Midtown was set a blaze on Saturday night by 12 of the best Balloon Cyclists the United States of America has to offer. All of the cyclists started the 14th Stage as a powerful group and as the mountain stage took its toll on these world class atheletes several brake aways and separations began to take place. Jeff and Logan made an early break away to claim the points for reaching the apex of the climb, but there were easily closed down 16km from the conclusion of the stage. The Peloton completed the stage as a tight group and the leader board will remain the same for the start of the 15th Stage. Ruubery Nicolees will hang on to his Yellow Jersey for one more day and continue the great French showing in this year's Tour De Atlanta.

Mike and Jeff were the only two cyclist's allowed to compete as a twosome. This the first year in the Tour de Atlanta that a Tadem Bike has been allowed to enter as a single competitor. The officials only allowed the Tadem to count as a single unit due to the unique circumstances.
Mike is the 4th fastest cyclist in the world, according to the 2010 Balloon Cycling World Rankings, and was only allowed to be joined by Jeff on the Tadem Bicycle because he has been lacking the driving force to power the bike. Jeff has been brought into the mix to keep Mike going and provide the much needed support he has been lacking from behind. We all look forward to seeing this ferocious and dynamic duo during the remainder the Tour de Atlanta stages.

Mike and Jeff! Team Roll out!
I hope to see you all suiting up for next year's Tour de Atlanta!
Go Get'em!!
